How It Works

Store your most important documents in the most secure way possible - on the Ethereum blockchain.

1

Upload Your Document

Drag & drop your PDF will, trust, or medical directive. Maximum file size is 5MB. We support standard PDF formatting with digital signatures.

2

Review & Verify

Preview your document in our secure viewer. Confirm all details are correct. Our system verifies the document hasn't been tampered with using cryptographic checksums.

3

Generate Cryptographic Hash

We create a SHA-256 hash - a unique digital fingerprint of your document. This hash (not your actual file) is what gets recorded on the blockchain for immutability.

4

Pay Gas Fee & Store

Pay a small Ethereum transaction fee (gas) or use credit card via Chainlink. We record the hash on Ethereum mainnet or a compatible L2 network like Polygon.

5

Receive Certificate

Download your blockchain verification certificate featuring a QR code. Share this with your executor or family members as proof of authenticity.

6

Set Access Controls

Designate who can access your documents after your passing. You can grant access to executors, family members, or even charitable organizations.

Traditional Storage

  • Risk of loss to fire, flood, disaster
  • Paper documents can fade, tear, get damaged
  • Can be lost or misplaced
  • Difficult to verify authenticity
  • Annual storage fees ($250-$400/year)

Blockchain Storage

  • Immutable - cannot be altered or deleted
  • Verified with cryptographic hash
  • Accessible 24/7 from anywhere
  • Low annual fees ($99/year)
  • Family can verify authenticity instantly
